TEEN PATHWAY TO CLIMBING INDEPENDENTLY
TEEN CLIMBER LICENSE
The Teen Climber Licence is The Coliseum’s supervised 4-week pathway for climbers aged 14–17 to gain approval to climb independently in the main bouldering gym.
In small groups, climbers work directly with General Manager and coach Matty Herron to develop safe practice, awareness, and responsible climbing habits. Week 4 includes a formal Independent Climbing Sign-Off assessment.
Climbers who meet The Coliseum standard will be awarded Teen Climber Licence status, permitting unsupervised climbing (ages 14–17). Independence is granted only where the required safety and competency level is demonstrated.
