KIDS PARTIES

Celebrate your child’s birthday with an action-packed bouldering party at The Coliseum. Our kids parties are fully coached, safe, and designed to be fun, inclusive, and memorable for climbers of all abilities, from complete beginners to confident young climbers.

Each party includes a structured climbing session led by experienced coaches, combining games, challenges, and supervised free climbing. We take care of the organisation so parents can relax while the kids have a brilliant time.

Coaching ratios

  • Ages 4–7: 1 coach to 6 children
  • Ages 8–11: 1 coach to 8 children

What’s included

  • Dedicated, coach-led climbing session
  • Shoe hire for all participants
  • All safety briefings and supervision
  • Access to age-appropriate climbing areas

We offer flexible party packages that can be customised to suit your group, including:

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

DO YOU PROVIDE COACHES FOR GROUP SESSIONS?

Yes. Sessions can be fully coach-led or a mix of coaching and supervised climbing, depending on your group’s needs. All bookings are overseen by a qualified Lead Coach, with Assistant Coaches added where required to maintain safe coaching ratios.

WHAT ARE YOUR SUPERVISION RATIOS?

Our supervision ratios are based on age and activity type:

• 4–7 years: 1 coach per 6 climbers
• 8–13 years: 1 coach per 8 climbers
• 14+ years: 1 coach per 10 climbers

Additional coaches can be provided for larger groups or participants requiring additional support.

IS EQUIPMENT INCLUDED?

Yes. Climbing shoe hire is included for all participants, and any required coaching equipment will be provided by our team.

CAN YOU ACCOMODATE ANY TYPE OF GROUP?

Yes. We regularly work with schools, youth organisations, sports teams, workplaces, birthday parties, and community groups. If you’re unsure whether your group is suitable, get in touch and we’ll be happy to help.
